VI  FIEL Conference in Mozambique
Sin: its Devices and Remedies

July 21 - 25, 2003

In May of 2000, Editora FIEL held its first FIEL Leadership Conference in the poverty-stricken country of Mozambique. For most of the 85 national pastors in attendance, the doctrines of grace and necessity of a serious, Christ-exalting ministry met their ears for the first time. They responded warmly and enthusiastically to the preaching of missionary Martin Holdt of South Africa, and eyed with sorrowful desire the many Biblical titles spread out before them, being unable to afford them even at discounts well below cost.

The fourth FIEL conference in 2003  featured the "Spurgeon of Africa", Pr. Conrad Mbewe and Brazilian Dr. Manoel Canuto, leader of the Puritan Project in Brazil. Please pray for these Mozambican brothers who are fellow-soldiers of the gospel of Christ. Their painful material needs are second only by their deep spiritual necessity for solid Biblical teaching and exhortation.

NOTE:  We have not continued these Conferences on a regular basis for lack of a good contact with a structure to help us set up the Conference. We held four Conferences there from 2000 to 2003.
